We felt so supported, cared for, and appreciated personally by Isaac's care, and we can't thank him enough for turning a scary situation into a positive one.
When my 90-year-old grandfather was brought to the hospital due to a severe case of the flu that had developed into pneumonia, our family was extremely nervous and stressed, given his age, the nature of the situation, and how scary things seemed when he first arrived. Once he was moved into the progressive care unit at Confluence Health Central Washington Hospital, the care that our nurse, Isaac, provided to my grandpa was absolutely fantastic.

My grandpa struggles with moderate to severe dementia, and he is not always the easiest patient, especially when in an unfamiliar place and working with unfamiliar people. Isaac handled this situation with such patience and care. He was so perfect at responding to my grandfather's needs in a timely, kind, and caring manner, with a smile and calm, positive attitude that also kept my family and me feeling supported throughout the process.

Isaac found alternative solutions to things that agitated my grandpa, such as having a pulse monitor taped to his finger, and went above and beyond to keep him as comfortable as possible during his stay. Going even further above and beyond providing excellent care to my grandfather and playing an important part in nursing him back to health, Isaac took special care to make sure my family and I were feeling supported while we spent our days sitting at my grandpa's bedside. He consistently checked in with us, asked how we were doing, offered to get us snacks or refreshments, and answered all of our questions with patience and care.

We felt so supported, cared for, and appreciated personally by Isaac's care, and we can't thank him enough for turning a scary situation into a positive one. It ultimately ended with my grandpa getting medically cleared to leave the hospital four days after arriving. We will never forget this experience Isaac provided us!
