I am honored to nominate our Nurse Educator, Isabel Foote, RN, for recognition because she consistently exemplifies excellence, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to both staff and Veterans. She always goes above and beyond, far beyond what is expected of her role, and does so with genuine enthusiasm and heart. What truly sets her apart is not just her knowledge, but how she shares it. She is always bubbly and upbeat, greeting everyone with a warm smile that instantly puts you at ease. No matter how busy she is, she never makes anyone feel rushed, embarrassed, or “dumb” for asking questions. Instead, she creates a psychologically safe learning environment where questions are welcomed, and growth is encouraged.
