Isaiah Lucero was awesome! When my husband got moved to the ICU, Isaiah would check on him frequently. He was always positive and compassionate. He is very special.

Isaiah never lied to me and he was very stern, which is what I needed. He put me in my place, so that I could get better. He knows how to talk to veterans without raising his voice and he made my stay very pleasant. Isaiah is an excellent nurse who deserves this award.
