Isis Garcia, ADN, RN

I am a young girl with pretty severe Crohn's Disease and other issues. I know doctors and nurses and the hospital experience like the back of my hand. That being said, I have met plenty of wonderful nurses, but none quite as empathetic, thoughtful, and hard-working as Isis. She was able to put a smile on my face even during the worst pain and treated me like I was at home: a feeling you do not get in a hospital.

She provided comfort, a listening ear, and intelligent input whenever possible, and to say that I am eternally grateful would be an understatement. She is someone that not only other nurses should look up to, but everyone in general should try to be more like Isis.
