We had a Spanish-speaking patient here from out of state who spoke very little English. With no family or friends nearby to transport him back home, Ish worked hard to help this patient return to his family. After working all night, Ish went home to sleep for a few hours, then assisted the patient in getting a Greyhound bus ticket. He drove him from the hospital to the bus station. His compassion and love for others shine so brightly that they warm everyone’s heart around him. He is a wonderful leader, nurse and person.
