During my transition from graduate nurse to Registered nurse, she has always had not only my back but her patients and every other member of our team. She is not only patient but kind, smart, and inspiring. On hard days when I thought I wasn’t good enough, she encouraged and lifted me up. On good days, she did just the same and encouraged me to keep going. When I had to call my first rapid response on a patient, she was right there with me and did not leave until the patient was stable and the chaos subsided. I am immensely grateful for her being a part of a new, scary part of my life. I know when I see her at work, I am never alone, and it is reassuring to have someone who cares as much about her peers as they do about their patients. I will always remember the things I learned and continue to learn from her. Thank you for everything.
