"Itamar is always helpful, cheerful and enthusiastic. He is thorough, careful and meticulous. He is always interested in learning and has excellent insight into the disease process. He is one of the best nurses I have ever worked with."

"Whether he is in the ICU, 3W, or on the Rapid Response Team, Itamar is always willing to help out even if he is not directly responsible for the patient or task at hand. Additionally, he personally helped me with HealthConnect programing of smart lists on his own time. His enthusiasm for healthcare and HealthConnect is infectious."

"It is a privilege to work with Itamar. It is the harmonic combination between patient care, nursing knowledge, peer support and interaction. In most of the cases, the patients in ICU cannot speak for themselves due to their critical condition, which requires critical intervention. Itamar is one of the special leaders in providing the highest quality care, which includes not only bedside support, but also the support of the family and loved ones; he is coordinating the interaction with respiratory, PT, OT, infection control and all other services as per specific patient's needs. Itamar demonstrates high level of management when in charge of the ICU unit and when crisis events have to be taken care of. He is flexing from management to bedside nurse as needed and vice versa, according to the circumstances and creates a low stress environment by applying himself above the position designated. At the Hospital level, Itamar is part of the RRT response team, PICC line management (insertion, management, removal) in all units and he answers calls like: starting an IV in hard stick patients, supporting the special procedures team and cardiology bedside interventions cardioversion, temporary pacer troubleshooting, cardiac arrest hypothermia, balloon pumps. Itamar brings valuable information to the ICU intensivist, based on his extensive nurse knowledge and bedside experience. Itamar is expanding his bedside expertise all the time by adding hands on management of patients with head trauma, trauma emergency level III and research in genetic field. In my opinion, I consider Itamar a candidate for the DAISY Award, and my words and the intubated patients in ICU messages cannot describe the passion of nursing care which goes above and beyond the RN bedside role."
...
"Itamar is consistently above what is expected of him professionally; his work, his demeanor, his approachability are exceptional."
...
"He is the most caring, gentle, knowledgeable responsible nurse a patient can have. He deserves all the accolades that one person could receive. I am so grateful for his patience and encouragement in my recovery. I feel very lucky to have Itamar guiding me through my ordeal."
