Ms. Itimad is a very active, cooperative, and supportive Nurse we always receive this comment from her patients and also colleagues. One day during her duty she received one Syrian patient for delivery of their first baby with no previous experience. Ms. Itimad, because she is so caring about her patients, she noticed that the patient looked sad and not excited that she will have her first baby so she start to speak to her to let her express her feelings. She wanted her to know that she is alone in the united Arab emirates away from her family, especially her mother and sister. This was her first baby and she was scared because her mother can not come because of the situation. Ms. Itimad started from this second to deal with the patient not only as a nurse but also as her sister even as her mother and extended time out of her duty to support the patient emotionally and clinically through all the stages of labor and after also for her first time to deal with her baby and start breastfeeding even after the patient transferred to her private room. Ms. Itimad still visited and supported the patient until she was discharged from the hospital. The patient was very happy and thankful to the hospital that they have nurses like Ms.Itimad who completely changed her feelings from sadness and loneliness to happiness and feeling that she was surrounded by all her family on this special day in her life.
