My daughter was recently admitted to the hospital, and Ivan was one of her amazing nurses. This was her first experience staying in a hospital, so she was scared. I brought some card games to entertain her, one of which was Cards Against Humanity. Ivan had been teasing her since he started his shift, and she loved his sarcastic energy. We got him to put down a card to play with us as he was doing his rounds.

He was positive and happy the entire time we were there. I then got him as my own nurse a few days later, as my own stay there happened. He was just as amazing with me as he was with my child. He kept me updated with everything he could and was on hand to help manage my pain better. He is absolutely amazing, and we could use more people in the world like him and the rest of the team on that floor!
