Ivy cared for me after admission from the emergency room with vertigo, nausea, and vomiting. She demonstrated what nursing is all about. I was alone my first night and unable to care for myself but I never felt alone. Ivy checked on me regularly and assisted with my every need and assisted me to the bedside commode. I could not stand steady or hold up my head. I remember as she assisted me, she wrapped her arms around me and reassured me I was safe. As I finished and stood, she assisted me cleaning me and helping me to redress and get back in bed. She hung around to make sure I was comfortable and the dizziness had passed. I am a 38-year-old RN that suddenly could not do anything on my own. Not a great feeling. This RN made me feel cared for and not alone. I cannot thank her enough.
