November 2025 Honoree
Ivy Maniulit, RN
In October of 2025, after our daughter was born via C-section and admitted to the NICU for respiratory support, Ivy served as her primary nurse. Throughout our daughter’s four-day stay, Ivy demonstrated outstanding professionalism, compassion, and dedication. She took time to explain each aspect of care, taught us essential parenting skills, and ensured my wife felt welcome and supported during a stressful time.
Ivy actively included us in our daughter’s care, calling us for feeding and encouraging family bonding. Her patient guidance with breastfeeding and personal encouragement eased our anxieties as new parents. Despite having only a year and a half of NICU experience and not being a parent herself, Ivy treated our daughter as her own, showing remarkable skill and empathy. Ivy consistently exceeded expectations, embodying the qualities celebrated by the DAISY Award.
