Izabela treated me when I was admitted to the hospital for a deep-vein thrombosis. In addition to getting me set up and making sure I was comfortable in my room when I was admitted at 10 pm, following a long, stressful afternoon in the ER, she took the time to talk with me through any concerns and encourage me for surgery the next day. I also had a very challenging roommate who was not respectful of my space or the nurses. Izabela handled the situation with ease, working extremely hard to meet my roommate's needs, but also acting as an intermediary to ensure the roommate did not negatively affect my care. When I was feeling overwhelmed, Izabela's care and treatment helped me to face a frightening situation.
