Jacey Guebert made one of the worst days of our lives into comfort and compassion. Our son was born sleeping. The amount of care Jacey showed helped us cope with our loss. She truly went above and beyond. She offered to lend us the camera to take more photos. She offered support by sitting at the bedside, always tending to any need requested. She even went as far as helping clean him so that we could save as much of his hair as possible. A nurse like Jacey, who will sit at the bedside and celebrate the joy and sorrow a loss brings, is more than just a nurse. She made us feel safe and comfortable with the amount of care and compassion we received. We will never forget all that she did for us as we celebrated our son’s life. She will be remembered for a lifetime.
