While other nurses were taking care of additional patients, JaCinta not only assisted my sister with her needs, she then made sure to ask a fellow nurse if she would like something to eat for lunch. She reinforced her care and concern by asking her to confirm what she was planning to eat. She has attended to her duties and given attention to newcomers and visitors, not only in her patient rooms, but in the rooms of her neighboring nursing staff rooms, as well. Her eye contact, smile, and eager response to everyone's needs can be seen and felt, but in the sweetest and most unobtrusive way. What a gift she brings to your staff, patients, hospital, and myself. She has a remarkable and contagious gift that shows in the way she carries herself and in her mannerisms. I am most grateful for her.
