Jack always has a smile, kind word to say or something funny to make you laugh. He is never negative. He makes comments such as, "We'll get through this together." Jack is always a team player. Jack has gone above and beyond to break the tension between the ED and floor staff at night.

In Bed Meeting, he always offers to lend a hand if they need help with an IV, patient issue or just an extra hand. He will even come up to the floors to do a sonosite when we need one. Jack has taught me the sonosite process as we went so I could then teach my patients beforehand so they know what to expect.

Has a can-do attitude. He always says "we", "team", "would love to help". He is always willing to teach and never makes you feel dumb. He continuously goes above and beyond for his staff and his patients. I can honestly say that he has made me a better nurse and I feel more confident in my nursing skills because of him. Jack always has a positive attitude and infectious sense of humor that is appreciated during stressful situations.
