Jackie Berger, MSN, RN, CMSRN

Jackie is the manager of Heart 3 South and has been extraordinary for both the staff and the patients. Our unit has come to see many changes over the last few years and the staff has seen many of their peers leave due to low morale and leadership changes. Jackie came through when the unit felt broken and was able to bring joy to a place that once felt lost. The unit now feels more connected than ever and, once again, feels like a family. The creation of a healthy work environment helps to build on patient care and safety and makes the staff feel like they are seen as more than just employees. She communicates openly and develops professional relationships in order to help her staff become the best they can be in both their personal and professional lives.
