Jackie was instrumental in getting my 6 day old son into the right unit for his care. As he continued to decompensate, he needed a higher level of care and without our luck of her floating to the unit that day, I'm not sure it would have happened and certainly not as expeditiously. She cared for all of us that day - made me lay down after 3 days of no rest and compassionately bonded with all of us that I felt it was okay to do so. We are so thankful for all of her advocacy and compassion.
