...Serving as his palliative care nurse, Jackie had established a relationship with this patient during his cancer treatment, and soon learned that this patient was coming toward the end of his journey with cancer. The patient discussed with Jackie his concern for leaving his infant son too soon. Jackie coordinated a videotaping to document the patient holding his son while giving him a few tips for the future, including how to shave. The completed video was given to the patient's grateful family.
