My aunt was fighting a tough fight of gastric cancer and unfortunately though a tough fight, had to be put on hospice and gained her wings in March. Jackie took care of not only my aunt but also my family. Jackie showed so much care and patience for all of them. While juggling the emotions of multiple family members, she cared for my aunt as if she was her only patient. Explained things to her, showing her love and kindness with all care provided. Not one time did I see her lose her cool or rush her. But each and every time she spent as much of her time caring for her mind body and soul.

Jackie, you reminded me of why I became a nurse. You showed me things I could improve on. You reminded me of the type of person I strive to be. Thank you for helping my aunt through her transition to receive her wings. Although she is no longer here with us, I know she loved her nurse Jackie and wanted to make sure you knew how much of an impact you made.
