Jackie Kirby, RN

We have a participant, a frail elderly woman, who recently moved from a nursing home into an apartment with her son. Upon leaving the nursing home, she had only a small couch. Jackie, using her own time and resources, provided her with a dining set and nearly everything she needed to establish a home. Jackie consistently checks on her, offering extra help due to the participant's limited vision and mobility. The participant was understandably anxious about her new situation and uncertain whether she could remain in her home. Without Jackie's compassionate support, we believe she might have been forced to return to the nursing home. Jackie is truly living out the mission of providing Christ-like healing.
