Jackie Kovacic, RN

I've struggled for years with 2 chronic illnesses that bring me to the ER often. I would like to nominate Jackie for going far and beyond expectations to make me feel calm, cared for, and safe for the first time in a long time. She reassured me that I wasn't alone and she was going to help me get through this. She worked diligently to get me an IV and meds. I am a very hard stick and she helped me stay calm through it all. Her bedside manner is unlike no other that I have experienced, which is just as important as getting medicine. As other nurses came in to try to start my IV they seemed to work so cohesively and made it look effortless even though I know how hard Miss Jackie was working to get me well and comfortable. She is a quick thinker on her feet, a problem solver, relatable, sweet, kind, and patient. A calm demeanor that every nurse should strive to have. She embodies all the qualities and attributes that make her a wonderful and amazing role model.
