Leading up to my induction, I was often with Jackie for my non-stress tests. She was always very patient and kind and did a great job teaching me about everything that was going on. On the day of my induction, I was thrilled to find out she was my nurse. Throughout the entire day she was extremely careful to help me have the birth experience I wanted. She was there to help me breathe through the tough contractions and was a great coach to my husband to help him guide me through labor. It was obvious she loves her job and cares about her patients. During the last stages of labor (the hard pushing stage) she was extremely helpful to the midwife, my husband and me by counting with me and continuing to help me breathe through the pain. I loved having her there with me and would suggest anyone to deliver at SRMH because of her awesomeness!
