Jackie Summers, RNC-MNN

Jackie Summers is the most selfless nurse with whom I have ever worked. She consistently goes above and beyond for her patients and her team. Jackie is just the person needed to provide respect and compassion in a patient's worst time. She prays, sings, talks, laughs, cries, and most importantly listens to each of her patients. One of her patients was emotional to be "celebrating" her daughter's birthday. Her daughter had passed one year prior. Jackie checked on her frequently to talk to her about her feelings on the birth and death of her daughter. She even came in that evening to bring her a bouquet of flowers to show how much she cared. Jackie exhibits DAISY Nurse exceptional compassion and the NGHS core values daily. Every nurse should be like Jackie!!
