Jackie Vail is the leading nurse in the Prep and Discharge unit. I was surprised that her title is not team leader or unit manager as she functions in that capacity. What is even more impressive is that she functions at all levels and is such a hard working nurse.
Jackie is very warm to my patients and they all love her. It's unique not to have at least one complaint over 10 years, but uniformly she has given exceptional care to all my patients. She hustles, compassionately deals with unhappy or challenging patients, is very professional, and is respected by all other nurses and doctors.
She is the best of the best and a true DAISY Nurse.
