Jackie was outstanding in my time of need. I was transferred from another facility to Wesley Long Hospital on Monday, and she took care of me until Thursday. When I first went on her floor, I advised her that I hadn’t been able to shower, had only had 1 sandwich the entire time until I was transferred to her floor, and still had on a dirty gown from the procedure they had done on my breast. This nurse told me her name and brought me everything I needed to get refreshed, ordered me food, and went above and beyond the entire time to make sure I was comfortable and kept me informed which it was hard to get others to do.

She was like a friend instead of a nurse, her compassion, understanding, and pride in her care for patients. Whenever I needed something it seems like she would come instantly and always had a smile on her face!! She was so truthful and made my life so much better while I was in the hospital which was very unexpected!! She gave me the best care a nurse could give a patient!! She even went through my release papers with me to ensure I understood everything and finally walked me downstairs when I was released to ensure I would leave safely. Please let her know how appreciated she is by patients.
