My first job after high school was at the old St. Elizabeth hospital in the admissions office. Over the years my family and I have had many admissions and surgeries at St. Elizabeth's, but I can never remember a nurse like Jackie. When I came to ICU she was like a beacon of light and hope for me. She is a very compassionate warm-hearted individual. She made me feel so much better in my worry and sickness. I was in so much sickness and pain and she just seemed to let me know that I was going to be okay, again in her own special way. She was that special nurse that everyone would want to watch over them. She truly is a blessing.
