One day I went to Jackie and told her that there was a gentleman that was still here from yesterday, a young man going to college. He did not have a ride or any money and his phone was dead with no way to charge it. Jackie told me that "she was on it" and although she did not tell me what she was going to do, very soon the young man had a charger for his phone, food to eat, and was on his way home.
Jackie goes above and beyond including reconciling patient accounts. On more than one occasion, she has completed her department as well as the rest of the hospital. She makes sure that all of the jobs are done before she leaves. She goes the extra mile to make sure the patients are cared for and I have seen her sacrifice her lunch in order to help others.
