As a Wisconsin Area Health Education Center Scholar, Jackie has addressed challenges in population health needs and expanded her knowledge of rural and underserved community health concerns.
Jackie is deeply committed to excellence in nursing education, practice, and service. She proactively assists others with challenging subjects and advocates for patient-centered care at every opportunity. As a Wisconsin Area Health Education Center Scholar, Jackie has addressed challenges in population health needs and expanded her knowledge of rural and underserved community health concerns. Jackie has advocated for inclusivity and equity within the nursing profession as a student representative on the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, as a participant in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Student Policy Summit, and by serving on a School of Nursing staffing search and screen committee. 

Outside of nursing, Jackie volunteers with the Madison Friends of International Students, fostering connections for international students and their families through cultural exchange and global friendship. 

Jackie’s experiences, background, and dedication to the profession make her an excellent representative for the future of nursing.
