Jaclyn recommended I go to the emergency room and get an X-ray, MRI and possible blood sample to determine the cause of my discoloration, extreme swelling and pain on my amputated left leg. If it weren't for her exceptional performance, none of this would have been possible.
It was determined that I not only had a tissue infection underneath my tibia bone, but my blood sugar was at extremely high. She again demonstrated commitment to my VA Healthcare and her Prosthetic Department, by scheduling a follow-up appointment with the Department Head, Dr. M and the Rehabilitation Amputee Clinic. She is willing to enter the patient's world, is sensitive to others, and demonstrates authentic compassion with her patients.
