This week we had TMCC 1st year 1st-semester Nursing Students at South Meadows. As an Instructor, I was able to rotate 2 of the students through the South Meadows Med-Tele unit. The experience they gained there was so valuable! The nurses were all amazing and took every opportunity to teach these future nurses! The student who was able to work with Jaclyn walked away with increased knowledge and skill level and felt such gratitude for her experience. Jaclyn is truly an expert in her field and a gifted educator. Jaclyn ensured the student was able to advance her assessment skills and gain a better understanding of the patient population. She kept her focused and challenged. These are now our future nurses and Jaclyn now has convinced a future nurse that South Meadows Med/Tele is where she wants to be.
