That nurse, whom I will never forget is Jackie.
My family and I were hit head-on going 70 mph. I had severe head trauma, a broken back and neck among other injuries. I was separated from my children due to the trauma care I needed. My daughter had major internal injuries, a punctured lung which required a lot of surgery, feeding tubes, and drains coming out of her body. She was in bad shape and spent the first 5 days in ICU while believing I was dead. On the 10th day, I was able to see her. She told me about her nurse and how special she was to her. That nurse, whom I will never forget is Jackie. When she walked into the room this morning, we were so thankful because we knew she would do the very best for her. Tears are falling down my face as I write this.
