Over the weekend, Jacob was working out at the gym and witnessed another gym member, a young man, collapse. The member was unresponsive, and compressions were started by another bystander who happened to be a paramedic. Jacob instructed someone to grab an AED and was able to get the young man hooked up. A shock was administered, and they were able to successfully defibrillate the patient. He and the paramedic worked together to gain ROSC on this young man. Jacob, thank you for jumping in to help your community even when you are off shift - this young man and his family, I'm sure, are eternally grateful for your life-saving measures!
