My brother-in-law was on a work trip when he suffered a heart attack and was admitted to Northeastern Health System. We are from Toronto, and this was a very stressful and emotional time for our family, especially being away from home and unfamiliar with the area. Jake showed incredible empathy and compassion from the moment we met him. He treated not only my brother-in-law with kindness and care, but also supported our entire family during this difficult situation. He was patient, understanding, and always made us feel comfortable and reassured.
Jake took excellent care of my brother-in-law throughout his stay. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and always made sure his needs were addressed quickly and professionally. He explained medical information clearly and answered every question we had in a calm and caring manner, which helped reduce our stress and fear during such a serious medical emergency. His confidence and professionalism gave us peace of mind that my brother-in-law was receiving outstanding care.
Jake consistently maintained a positive attitude, even during busy and stressful moments. He remained calm, respectful, and professional at all times. He treated everyone with kindness and never made us feel like a burden, despite our many questions and concerns. His friendly and approachable nature made a very difficult experience much easier for our family.
Jake truly demonstrated all aspects of C.A.R.E.S. He showed courtesy and respect in every interaction with our family and my brother-in-law. He was accountable and attentive, ensuring all care needs were met promptly and safely. He handled situations efficiently while still taking the time to answer questions and provide comfort. Most importantly, he made us feel safe and confident in the care being provided.
Jake went above and beyond to connect with our family during a frightening and uncertain time. Since we were new to the area and far from home, his kindness and understanding meant so much. He made us feel supported, cared for, and less alone throughout the experience. We have never met a nurse as compassionate, helpful, and understanding as Jake. The entire team on the 3rd floor was wonderful, but Jake truly stood out. We honestly wished he was there every day.
