My husband went into cardiac arrest at work and had to be shocked 20 times with CPR performed for approximately 40 minutes prior to being transferred to SB Memorial ICU. My husband was healthy prior to this incident and it was very shocking and unexpected. Jacob took care of my husband for the three days he was in the hospital before he passed away. He took the time to talk to him, letting him know everything he was doing, even though he wasn't conscious during the entire stay. He always asked us if we had any questions. He was compassionate and provided excellent care for our loved one. We felt very comfortable with Jacob caring for him. During this difficult time, he also looked out for the health of our family, seeing us in the hall and asking if there was anything he could do for us. Jacob is a great nurse and helped us through a very difficult time in our family's life.
