Jacob always goes above and beyond for his patients. When he had a critically ill patient who was dying, he ensured the family had the time they needed to say their final goodbyes. The patient’s family really wanted to FaceTime with the patient's grandson before withdrawing care, but were nervous his grandson would be scared of the trach. Jacob put a masked on the patient and pulled the covers to hide the wires and tubes, which created a calm scene for his young grandson to say his goodbyes. Jacob always takes time to provide special moments for his patients which truly represents serving with the greatest care and love.
