Jackie was nominated by several people including her peers, her supervisors, and patients. She has been at the facility for a short time but has made a huge impact on the lives of many people. Jackie is compassionate and empathetic, but has a no-nonsense attitude that garners her respect from all disciplines. She has provided coaching to her frontline staff members in a respectful manner that leaves the employee ready to do more for our patients and for each other. Leadership rounds is something that Jackie is very passionate about, and through these rounds, she is able to proactively prevent further patient experience and safety concerns. Jackie is an extraordinary nurse leader and deserves this Award.
