Jacqueline was recognized for helping a young woman who came to our ED with her 5 day old newborn. Jacqueline stopped to see if she could help when she noticed the mom and grandmother were both crying. It seems that the baby would not eat and was very sleepy. With her background being in the NICU, Jacqueline took the time to sit and talk to them and offered to help feed the baby. She undressed the baby to stimulate him to wake up and fed the whole bottle to the baby. Both mom and grandma were relieved and very thankful. Jacqueline instructed them on what to do and told them she was working the next few days if they needed her help.
