I have gotten to know Jackie when she cared for adult patients on the Peds Unit during high census and I have always really enjoyed working with her! When we found out our son was going to be admitted to the hospital, I was so relieved when I saw her there and that she was going to be our nurse.

As a provider, it can sometimes be overwhelming taking care of patients whose family is employed in healthcare, but she was always confident and educational. She repeatedly told us we were there as a mom and dad and not employees. We had a difficult time getting an IV and we could not watch the scalp IV. She got the help needed so we did not have to hold him down. She brought him bubbles, books, and activities to help keep him entertained. She also rearranged the room countless times to keep us comfortable. Jackie was amazing and will always hold a special place in my heart.
