My 94 year old mother was admitted via the ER for AFIB and CHF. From the moment we entered the doors, we were treated with kindness and dignity. Everyone was competent and eager to explain medications and procedures. Ours wasn't a high drama situation but there is an unavoidable amount of anxiety getting settled and diagnosed. Jackie's contribution wasn't that of "in the nick of time she saved a life" but rather a cheerful, knowledgeable caregiver. She was sincerely and genuinely helpful at all times. She did unpleasant things with compassion and professionalism. I felt so thankful to be under her supervision. She gave me the impression she loved her calling. Truly one of those people who are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.
