A belated but heartfelt recommendation that Jacqueline be considered for a DAISY Award. She is Awesome! I had spine surgery and she was extraordinary. She kept a watchful eye on me throughout my stay. I was freezing post-surgery and she found a way with many blankets to keep me warm. My blood pressure one night was dipping low and she was so careful with my meds to make sure my pressure didn’t get too low. I had the second surgery and didn’t get back to the room until 6:00. I was so relieved to know she was my nurse! I was asked to get up and walk that night but she would not let me do it as she knew I could not get out of bed safely.

Another night, the medical assistant had trouble getting my blood pressure and Jacqueline figured out a way to get an accurate read on my leg! I was in the hospital for 5 days and I strongly believe I did so well because she was my nurse. She is compassionate and has wonderful skills. It was a privilege to have her caring for me.
