Nurse Jennings has charisma. She is spontaneous. She is very likable. She is friendly. She makes one feel very comfortable and at ease, always.
I was recently admitted to Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital for five days. On three of those days, Nurse Jacquetta Jennings was one of my RNs. She did an exceptional job. From beginning to end, Nurse Jennings (nicknamed JQ) consistently demonstrated excellence through her clinical expertise and extraordinary compassionate care. Nurse JQ should be recognized as an outstanding role model within the nursing community at Saint Agnes Hospital, and beyond. Undoubtedly, Nurse Jennings demonstrated the core values of Saint Agnes; reverence, integrity, wisdom, dedication, and service. Upon being assigned to a room with significant shortness of breath, intense pain in my abdomen area (later identified as appendicitis), and heart/kidney related issues, Nurse Jacquetta was ever-present caring for my every need starting from the moment I was admitted to the moments preceding my discharge. (Wheel-chairing me and my oxygen tank to the Hospital exit!) Nurse Jennings has charisma. She is spontaneous. She is very likable. She is friendly. She makes one feel very comfortable and at ease, always. She is dedicated. She is creative. She is exceedingly reverent, compassionate, honest, and knowledgeable. And she also has a great sense of humor. Whenever I needed anything, Nurse Jennings accomplished it diligently, patiently, calmly, enthusiastically, and in a timely manner. Yet, big words do not exemplify her down-to-earth attributes and attitudes which put her in a category of her own. I have been served by many excellent nurses at multiple hospitals this year and she stands out, above and beyond. One can sense it; one can feel it. I highly recommend Nurse Jacquetta Jennings for the internationally recognized DAISY Award. She outstandingly models “extraordinary, compassionate and skillful care given by nurses every day.”
