Our family wants to recognize Jade's outstanding support and guidance during our mom's illness. Our mom was in your care twice in January, when she passed away. Jade, we appreciated you and your tech for keeping both she and us informed while being sensitive to the challenges the family faced with the surprising severity of her condition.
Our mom was in the ICU three times since her December admission and attended to by the staff to stabilize her to fight what resolved to be a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. She was also suffering related pleural effusion, heart failure, and multiple kidney failures. She was mortified by the suddenness of her health deterioration. Thank you and your tech for comforting her at her lowest point and restoring her dignity during this trying time. There were countless other times you went above and beyond caring for our mom and for us.
We want to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation for your assistance and guidance during our family's 5 week battle for hope. Our mom understood that her kidneys and heart were very weak and her blood pressure was being maintained solely by all the medicine available to us. Facing this and the fading hope of her getting well enough to fight the cancer that was raging on, our mom made a very courageous decision to meet with her family to express her hopes, her love and her prayers and then to have the heart medicine removed so that she would pass onto the next life with dignity.
Thank you for the support you showed our family during a very difficult and very sad time. We know that our mom left this world feeling secure in that she was loved. Trying to express our deepest thanks our words simply fall flat. Sincerest thanks and God Bless you, Jade, for your gift of nursing.
