Rich came on as my grandfather’s nurse. We were in the emergency room as my Gramps fell and had been battling terminal cancer. Rich stated he usually didn't work in ER but would do his best, and he did, actually he exceeded expectations. My Gramps is dying and will be going home on hospice; all the nurses and physicians have been wonderful. Rich especially stood out for me. He treated my Gramps with dignity, respect and so much kindness. He was taking care of all of us. He is the kind of nurse and overall human you want to interact with, especially in a sensitive time like end of life. Rich made a few jokes, had a great smile and the family that was here with me also agreed he was great. Thank you, Rich! We all appreciate you!
