Jaime Chandler, RN, BSN

My wife was transferred from the ED to the unit on the floor. Transfers are typically tedious and very uncomfortable. When we reached the floor, Jaime was ready with almost a welcome mat! She was completely up to date on her admission from ED and the immediate care my wife needed. During the transfer, she complained about nausea. Jaime knew exactly what had been prescribed and gave her Zofran IV. During the physical transfer, Jaime was kind and very sensitive to my wife’s comforts. She was strong but not rough. After my wife was settled in bed, Jaime took a history and did vital signs. She was empathetic and kind, fully knowledgeable. She returned on the next day for the night shift. We were lucky. She is the best nurse we have encountered in +50 years. She is a DAISY Nurse.
