Jaime Gill, RN
During the past few years, Nurse Gill has been a steady calm, and compassionate nurse in unprecedented times for school nursing. Nurse Gill has led the charge in ensuring daily student care with meds general sickness and more while also helping lead the charge in complex tasks like creating and implementing Ready to Learn Plans, quarantine management, vaccination clinics, and more.
In the midst of the pandemic, she also helped our school form an effective wellness committee that has helped with the needs of our school staff. She has truly been on the front lines in answering complex and at times heated phone calls from parents and community members while also being that reassuring voice to students who have been sick and injured. She has done all of this during normal school hours and many overtime hours of evening and weekend work.
Nurse Gill is a team player who is passionate about meeting the complex needs of 115 staff members and over 1000 elementary students. Her expertise, compassion, and commitment to always doing the right thing help her stand apart and she is truly a DAISY Nurse.
