The “right nurse” can truly make the difference in a patient’s day, lower their anxiety level, and promote healing. We could tell within minutes of meeting Jaime Kimbel that she would be that special nurse. Jaime was comforting and had a calm demeanor. She inspired our confidence in her ability. She was attentive. She checked on me regularly. She was reassuring in response to our medical concerns, providing information and calming anxieties. She was confident, efficient, knowledgeable and accurate. She promotes healing! Jaime is a wonderful and compassionate nurse who made my very intensive stay a wonderful stay. She took care of me as if I was one of her family members. Her performance and compassion were awesome, and she deserves to be awarded The Daisy Award. She takes pride in her patients and her job as well.
