Jaime Lopez-Medina was the very capable nurse many days after my dad suffered a stroke. He never seemed to sit down. He constantly made sure dad’s IV’s were running properly. His vital signs were good and he was turned often enough to prevent skin breakdown. Jaime also had enough experience and intelligence to be wise about my father’s care. He even realized that a lab result might be in error and had it repeated, preventing an unnecessary transfusion. And Jaime does this with a quiet confidence that instills comfort even to a doctor-daughter like me during a very difficult time. Thanks, Jaime!
