My mother came into the ER and was admitted to CCU with confusion, fever, and neck pain. The doctors diagnosed her with a UTI and muscular shoulder pain. After three days of not seeing any results from the treatments and my mother getting worse, Jaime asked for further tests. She knew they were missing something. They ordered an MRI and found osteomyelitis discitis epidural abscess. They changed the plan of care and got more doctors involved. She is the best patient advocate that we could have ever asked for in a nurse. She was extremely supportive and answered every question we asked. She was always looking for better ways to keep my mother comfortable. She truly is one of the best nurses we have ever met.
