Jaimee Alair 2, MSN, RN, CEN

We had a very sick and unresponsive 6-week-old baby brought in from Pedi to our trauma side in the ER. On top of already being a high-stress situation, a unique amount of emotion was added as the parents were known to many staff as former ER nurses in our unit. The doctors and nurses had difficulty establishing IV access, and there were limited resources due to it being a Friday evening. I called Jaimee, who immediately came from home and sacrificed her evening off to help provide her Pedi expertise, along with support for both the staff and parents. This is just one small example of who Jaimee is to her core. She is not only an excellent source of knowledge and reliable resource, but she is willing to provide care and support to all patients and staff as if they were her own family. The patient undoubtedly had a better outcome because of her. Thank you, Jaimee!!
