Life is full of unexpected surprises. However, managing unexpected events wisely and efficiently impacts life positively. That is what Jaimi did as a manager. When the unit faced sudden staffing challenges, which included shifting priorities for a staff who needed to attend to a family emergency but did not want to leave early, Jaimi immediately acted on the issue. As soon as she heard about the staff's predicament, she came to our unit. Jaimi first listened to the nurse's worries and concerns when she walked into the unit and started to help the nurses. Because of Jaimi's action, the workload was completed ahead of time, and the nurse left early. Jaimi should be recognized for her wise and people-oriented management.
